BS Information & Communications Technologies:

Students in this program may choose to specialize in one of the two concentrations:
  1. BS Information Security
  2. BS Telecommunication & Networks
Career Opportunities:

What is information and communications technology? It is about the application of computers and telecommunications equipment to store, retrieve, transmit, and manipulate data to meet specific needs in various contexts. It is about the application-oriented study, design, development, implementation, and management of computer-based information systems.

What information and communications technology graduates often do? They study, design, develop, apply, implement, and manage information and telecommunication systems. Network systems administrators, for example, install, configure, secure, maintain, and repair computer systems. Information security specialists, on the other hand, protect data from unauthorized access, use, disruption, modification, copying, or destruction.


Finally, telecommunications specialists design voice and data communication systems and install and maintain these systems. Where do information and communications technology graduates often work? They meet the information and communications technology needs of government, private businesses, and non-governmental organizations
