Founding Charter of City University - April 17, 2012

Authorization & Accreditation
City University (CU) is authorized by the Somali Federal Government Ministry of Education, Directorate for Higher Education & Culture.

City University is a founding member of the East African Research and Innovation Management Association (EARIMA) and its Somali Chapter, a founding member of the Association of Somali Universities (ASU), and a member of the Somali Research and Educational Network (SomaliREN).

We are also in the process of obtaining International Institutional recognition from a number of international accrediting agencies  for the University as well as programmatic  accreditation for specific programs within the university.
