Computer Teaching Laboratories

K4-Campus – C111 Computer Lab: This facility is open to both graduate and undergraduate students. Usage does not require an account but Internet access requires a username and password. Graduate students have unrestricted access afterhours but undergraduate students are restricted to  open lab hours.

Equipment:

The lab is equipped with modern computers, printers, UPS devices, and storage devices. All computers are networked and the necessary software is made available for all classes.

 

Computer Hardware: The lab is equipped with 27 Dell OptiPlex computers. Each computer has Core i3 3.3 GHZ processor, a 22.5” flat panel display, 250GB disk storage, 8GB of RAM and a DVD+/RW drive.

  • Printers/Plotters:  All computers in the lab
  • UPSes:  All computers in the lab
  • Video Conference Room:  All computers in the lab
  • Loaner Equipment Check-out:
    Five fully loaded loaner laptops are available in each computer lab for the use of instructors and students. A valid CU ID is required for borrowing laptops which should be returned to the lab before the end of the school day. Extended borrowing requires the approval of the head of the relevant department.
