FOUNDATIONS PROGRAM:
The Foundations Program provides students newly admitted into City University a chance to learn English, Math & Information Technology to help them succeed in their university studies. Students taking a placement test to determine their level of proficiency and are then placed in one of six-levels of English. Upon completion of level six (advanced) course, students undergo TOEFL preparation lessons to be able to take full advantage of the quality education provided to them. These foundation students also take four levels of Mathematics and three levels of Information Technology. The program takes upto six months depending on the student's proficiency level in all subjects. Students who test above the upper intermediate level are allow to simultaneously register for introductory level university classes. |
